PreVABS fiber orientation definition

What is the correct fiber orientation for the PreVABS 2.0 Box Beam example, +15 or -15 degrees? Text states +15. XML file also shows +15. But Table 11 indicates -15 degrees. Is this a discrepancy or does it relate to the element frame and how the baseline direction is defined?

Per PreVABS 2.0 documentation:

User should pay attention to the relations among the base line direction, elemental frame y and fiber orientation of each layer:

Change of direction of the base line will change the elemental frame y as defined, which will further require the user to change the fiber orientations accordingly, even though nothing changes physically.

Also, within the input file, box_cus.xml, is this comment conflicting with the defined points order?

tl,tr,br,bl,tl

I think tl (top left) to tr (top right) would be clockwise.

You are correct. The example file is correct. The issue is the online doc page and the input comment. I will fix them later.

The following drawing may be clearer. The base line direction (clockwise) defines the local “2” axis.
