Cloud Trial Licenses

Dears,

Last year, I used to access SwiftComp online via the CdmHUB cloud. However, when I tried to use it now, a warning message appeared stating that the tool is restricted to authorized members of the hub and that I need to submit a ticket.

Is it no longer available online for academic use? And should I request a free trial, similar to VABS?
Thanks in Advance.

Hello,

Some of the tools are currently down on the cloud. We’re actively working with the respective team to resolve the issue and will update you as soon as the tools are back online.

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. I hope this problem gets resolved soon.

@MostafaTayel @Avinash The cloud version of SwiftComp and TexGen4SC should be working on cdmHUB now.

@Wenbin @Avinash It is still not working, Professor Wenbin. A message appears when I try to run the tool via this link “cdmHUB - The Composites HUB - Resources: SwiftComp: About” : “Session invocation is currently disabled”.

I will let my IT support know this. @Avinash can you test it to see whether it works for you so that we can pin down the problem.

I am also facing the same issue with the tools. They are visible now but the launch option is not active with the same error message.

@Avinash @MostafaTayel are you a member of Yu group? If not, please request to become one then you should be able to use it.

@Wenbin No, Sir. I submitted a request and I am waiting for your approval.

I just approved you although I don’t know whether this will solve the problem. You can also file a ticket on cdmHUB if it still does not work for you.

@Wenbin Yes, the issue has been resolved; however, the tool takes a considerable amount of time to load, and ultimately displays an error message stating: ‘Failed to invoke session.’ I have submitted a support ticket and am currently awaiting a response from the support team.

thanks a lot for reporting. I hope it will be resolved soon. It is our plan that you can use it directly via CompositesAI by the end of this year.

@MostafaTayel @Avinash Is the issue resolved now?

Yes Professor, I am able to access Swiftcomp & Texgen4sc tools now.

@Wenbin Me too, Professor.
