Advancing Composite Materials Testing with ARAMIS 3D Digital Image Correlation – Purdue Area Visit June 11

Hello All,

I wanted to reach out and let everyone know that Trilion will be in the area on Thursday, June 11, and we’d welcome the opportunity to connect with researchers, engineers, and students working in composite materials testing and characterization.

Trilion specializes in ARAMIS 3D Digital Image Correlation (DIC) systems, a non-contact optical measurement technology used to capture full-field strain, displacement, and deformation data during mechanical testing. ARAMIS has been widely adopted across industry and academia to support composite coupon testing, structural validation, damage characterization, impact testing, fatigue studies, and advanced research initiatives.

We’re always interested in learning about the innovative work being conducted within the Purdue composites community and discussing how DIC technology can help expand testing capabilities, improve data quality, and provide deeper insight into material and structural behavior.

If your team is currently evaluating new test methods, considering a DIC implementation, or simply interested in learning more about how optical measurement technology can support your testing objectives, we’d be happy to arrange a visit and discussion while we’re in town. While we won’t be conducting live demonstrations during this trip, we would be glad to coordinate a dedicated demonstration at a later date if there is interest.

Please reply to this post or send me a direct message if you’d be interested in connecting. We look forward to learning more about your current research and testing initiatives and exploring ways we can support your work.

Best regards,
Jacob Gannon
